3.5stars。富田常雄的原作，以宽永御前试合为背景，本质上还是个武者修行的故事，连主角名字都向姿三四郎致敬。道場破り与問答無用。天狗，岩猿也都有典。若山饰演一个机龙之助式的浪人。最后决斗时lens flare用得不错。
